UPS Ignites Innovation
Once Again
From the UPS campus to the prestigious stage of PSG Tech, our students demonstrated that sustainability is best expressed through action.
Four Grade 9 students —
Akshara, Madhuvarshini, Yazhini, and Vinushri
— advanced to the finals of the Young Environmental Scientist (YES) Program with their project on Sustainable Agriculture, competing alongside 53 teams.
The team secured
3rd Place
and a cash prize of
₹10,000.
We also take pride in sharing that their mentor, Mrs. Thenmozhi, received the
Best Mentor Award
along with a
₹5,000
cash prize for her exceptional guidance.
This achievement reflects UPS’s commitment to nurturing responsible young scientists and future changemakers, marking yet another proud milestone for our institution.
