Instructions to the students
Rules Regarding Classroom Behavior
- Students should not enter any other classroom other than those designated to them.
- Students should not distract or disrupt the classroom proceedings.
- Students have to speak in English inside the campus.
- Irregularity in-class work, home assignments, submission of notebooks, Maps, record etc., will result in the student being made to stay back in the school after school hours to complete the work.
- Students have to bring their own belongings. Borrowing of Books, pen, pencil, eraser, scale, geometry box, etc. is not allowed.
Examination / Promotion Rules
- Students caught copying during tests and exams will not be allowed to write the exam on that particular day and the parents will be called and informed immediately.
- A pupil who fails consecutively twice in the same standard is liable to be expelled.
- For promotion, the marks obtained in all tests/exams will be taken in to account.
Rules pertaining to discipline
- Students have to move in single file in perfect silence along the corridors.
- Cell phones and cameras are not allowed inside the school premises.
- Teasing and insulting others is not allowed.
- Uniform defaulters will not be allowed the P.T. period.
- Distribution of chocolate and sweets during Birthday
- Students are not allowed to bring blades / wooden or steel rulers to school. Students should bring only plastic rulers to school.
- No half days either in the morning or afternoon will be permitted.
Safety rules
- Students who damage school property such as toilet fittings, lab instruments, switches, fans, safety grills, etc., will have to bear the expenses for the repair and replacement.
- Students responsible for scribbling on walls or furniture will bear the cost of repair, painting, polishing, replacement etc.,
- Students are responsible for the safe keep up their books, money, pens, lunch boxes and other articles.
Rules for taking leave
- 85% of attendance is necessary to sit for the annual examination.
- Application on the medical ground should be countersigned by an appropriate medical authority.
- Application for leave must be signed by the parent.
- Students have to obtain permission from their respective Class Teachers one day prior for taking leave.
Library rules
- Students should return the library books within the due date. Books will not be issued during exams term.
- Silence and order must be observed in the library.
- Students must not sub-lend books and circulate them among outsiders.
- A student who losses or damaged books will be asked to replace the same or another book by the same author or will be asked to pay the cost of replacement.
Instructions to the parents
Parents / Guardians should check & sign the DIARY.
- A diary is a tool for the teachers to communicate with the parents.
- The diary will contain Homework, requisition by the teachers, portions, Exam time table etc.,
- Parents have to ensure that their children come to school in full uniform and be on time submit to school.
- Parents must attend parent-teacher meetings. It is compulsory.
- Parents / Guardians are not allowed to meet their children (or) teachers during school hours.
- Parents are can meet the principal and teachers with prior appointment.
- Parents are requested not to send valuable items to school
- Please use the suggestion box, placed at the entrance.
- You are requested to keep your child at home if he or she is unwell.
- Parents are expected to co-operate with the school in implementing the school’s strategies, rules, and regulation.
